Exporting the Revolution requires knowledge generation and theoretical works

We seek to make more use of the country’s indigenous potential capacities in line with our cultural goals and relations with other countries in the world.

Hawzah News Agency –The Head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, Hojjatoleslam Imanipour, in a meeting with the Chancellor of Al-Mustafa (PBUH) International University, said Islamic Revolution is a civilization-building phenomenon and we must develop, produce content and theorize about this phenomenon accordingly.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), Hojjatoleslam Mohammad Mehdi Imanipour, continuing his visit to the holy city of Qom, met with Hojjatoleslam Ali Abbasi, the Chancellor of the Mostafa International University.

Hojjatoleslam Abbasi, referring to the establishment of a religious organization in Al-Mustafa University, said the most important activity of this organization is related to religious, Quranic and other related issues.

He stated that this institution was formed from the merger of the two organizations of the World Center of Islamic Sciences and the Organization of Overseas School Affairs and has started its activities since 1986.

According to Hojjatoleslam Abbasi most of Al-Mustafa’s activities are concentrated in holy city of Qom, holy city of Mashhad, Tabriz, Georgia, Turkey and especially in Tehran for the Zeidis and in northern city of Gorgan, for the Sunnis.

He said Al-Mustafa International University (PBUH) operates abroad as a representative and licenses have been obtained based on the legal activities of that country, some in of colleges and educational centers, adding that one of the important departments of Al-Mustafa is its virtual university and it enroll students in bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

The head of Al-Mustafa University (PBUH) also added: "One of the important activities in Al-Mustafa University is teaching Persian language. In this matter, Al-Mustafa has a very good style and experience and has been able to play an important role in the development of the Persian language in the world.

Hojjatoleslam Imanipour talked about the activities of ICRO and said its undertakings are very similar to Al-Mustafa’s responsibilities an interrelation that encourages more cooperation between these two establishments.

The head of ICRO, stating that one of the cases of cooperation can be related to providing cultural leadership, added that one of the tasks that we try to tackle is the Countries Transformation Document. We seek to make more use of the country’s indigenous potential capacities in line with our cultural goals and relations with other countries in the world.

He continued: "This organization can help internationalize and enrich the activities of the Qom Seminary adding that if we want to have something to say in the world, we must have a more scientific view of the world’s scientific centers, and the Al-Mustafa University can help us in this regard.
